We count it a great privilege to minister to your babies. Our goal is to make the nursery a place that will surround you and your children with love while you are in God’s house. Our desire is to create and maintain a safe, clean environment as well as a loving atmosphere. We hope you feel the love of Jesus as you enter our doors, and feel confident leaving your children in our Nursery.
We have an excellent staff trained to meet your baby’s physical as well as spiritual needs.
- All classes have teaching opportunities to share the love of Jesus each time your little ones enter our doors.
- We will sing, play, read, rock and teach each time you are in our part of the ‘house’.
- Our mission is to enhance each opportunity for God to do His work in the hearts of children and their parents!
For the safety of all, our teachers and volunteers have all been through training and an application/screening process. If you feel the tug of God on your heart to volunteer here, please contact us! We love having parents around! Thanks again for sharing your children with us!
Hours
Nursery is provided 30 minutes before and 15 minutes after all regular Sunday and Wednesday services; Revival and Special Music Presentations and other special events as indicated in the Worship Folder.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedure
- The parent must show the security card to the Security Desk attendant upon entering the Nursery. (Everyone should have their own security card. If you don’t, please sign for a temporary card for the day, and fill out the form at our front desk for your own card).
- Upon arrival at the child’s room, a parent must sign the child in on the form located at the door of each room.
- Please sign the child in each time you use the nursery, and fill out all portions of the sign-in sheet.
- Please make your goodbyes quick. You are more than welcome to watch your child through the one-way glass, but we ask, for the safety of all the children, that you not open the door at any time or go into the room.
- If your child should need the you, the number located on the back of the yellow security card will appear on the security call system monitor in the Sanctuary.
The monitors in the Sanctuary are located on the walls below the projection of the service
If you are in a Sunday School Class, the Nursery Director will come tell you
- The yellow security card MUST be presented to the teacher every time the child is picked up from the nursery. Older siblings are not allowed to pick up babies. Another adult may pick up your child if he/she has the correct security card.
- Please pick your child up immediately following each service. Children look for parents when they know it is time to leave and often feel panic when other parents have arrived and theirs haven't.

What to Bring
- Disposable diapers (unless allergic)
- bottles, or sippy cups
- pacifiers if needed
- and a change of clothes are all helpful.
Please LABEL everything you bring with your child’s name. If you need a marker, one is available in every room. We honestly do our best to make sure each child goes home with what he/she brought, but with up to 20 children in some of the rooms, names on items surely do help!
Nursing Moms
We have a room designed just for you. Feel free to use it anytime you need … for feeding, changing, and watching the morning services.
Illness
- Children with runny noses (colored substances), fever, persistent cough or signs of a contagious illness cannot be accepted in the nursery.
- A child must be free of fever/diarrhea for 24 hours before he/she may attend the nursery.
- Teachers are not allowed at any time to administer medication. Parents may sign a permission form to allow teachers to administer Orajel, Mylecon or Desitin.
Your children are a special blessing from the Lord. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Pastor Phil Hause or Judy Dixon. We want you to feel comfortable and confident with our program and facilities and teachers!
