Community Bible Study is studying 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus this year!

In his letters to Timothy and Titus, Paul reminds these young pastors they have a sacred responsibility: to guard the gospel as faithful stewards of God’s mercy and to guide the church as shepherds shaped by sound doctrine and godly character. Their charge is both defensive and directive—to protect the truth from distortion and to lead God’s people in love.

This charge isn’t just for Timothy and Titus—but for you and me as well. As followers of Christ, we share in the gift of the gospel and the calling to live it, protect it, and pass it on. It’s not an easy calling—Paul called it a fight. Not a fight of violence, but one of perseverance. A fight of faith, waged with courage, love, and the Spirit’s power.
