Lewis has served at BFC since 1981 and was named Executive Pastor in April of 2003. His responsibilities include Administration, Christian Education, and supervision of Pastoral Staff. From 1993 to 2003, he served as Business Administrator. He served ten years as BFC’s Minister to University Students, Youth and Young Singles. He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University with an undergraduate degree in Education/Communication and a Master's Degree in Business. Lewis and his wife, Rita, have two children, Curtis and Aubree.

After attending Bethany First Church for many years, Tim joined the staff as Business Administrator in August 2005. Tim's responsibilities include management of human resources, the business office, and facilities. He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University and is a member of the Board of Directors of First Bethany Bank & Trust, Southern Nazarene University Board of Trustees, and serves as District Treasurer for the Oklahoma District Church of the Nazarene. Tim is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Oklahoma Society of CPAs, and the National Association of Church Business Administrators. He and his wife Darlene have one son, Alan.

David serves as the Associate Youth Pastor overseeing Middle School Ministries. He loves spending time getting to know students and enjoys watching as they transform into mature men and women of God. He graduated in 2011 from Southern Nazarene University with a degree biology. David and his new bride, Bethany Jean, live in Bethany, OK.

Mike serves as pastor to college students and young adults. Mike has invested much of his professional experience to working with students and young adults. He served for many years in the area of student services as Vice President for Student Development at Southern Nazarene University. He is a graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University with a degree in Religion and Speech Communication, and also received a Master’s degree from Oregon State University in Education, focusing in College Student Services Administration. Mike, and his wife, Darlene live in Bethany and have three daughters, Mindy, Emily and Kaylee

Chris serves as the Associate Youth Pastor overseeing High School Ministries. Chris grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma where he graduated in 2007. He is a 2011 graduate of Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and Ministry. Chris has attended Bethany First Church for more than 20 years. He is engaged to a beautiful women named Hannah, with wedding plans in March of 2012. He plans to attend Nazarene Theological Seminary in 2012.

Chris serves as the Executive Pastor of Age Group Ministries and Pastor of Youth Ministries. He has a degree in psychology and youth ministries from Olivet Nazarene University. He also has a Masters of Divinity degree from the Nazarene Theological Seminary, and received his Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. Chris has served on staff at Kansas City Central Church of the Nazarene as well as Nazarene churches in Indianapolis and Valparaiso. Chris and his wife Holly have a son, Watson, and a daughter, Annabelle.

Michaele LaVigne

Michaele LaVigne is the Equipping Pastor of BFC.  Her passion and main responsibility is helping believers find their God-given niche of service, and equipping them for that ministry. She and her husband Brent served in Swaziland for one year as BFC’s On-Site Coordinators for the Swaziland Partnership.  Previously Michaele has served as an associate pastor in Mount Vernon, Ohio.  She is an alumna of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, where she received a degree in education ministries and communication.  She also received her Master of Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary.

Harlan has been on staff at BFC since1998. His previous assignment was Minister of Music and Worship at San Diego First on the campus of Point Loma Nazarene University. Harlan has served as Minister of Music at Nashville First, Denver Lakewood, Kankakee, Illinois College and Skyline Wesleyan Church in San Diego. He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University and earned his Master's degree in Worship Studies from The Institute for Worship Studies in
Jacksonville, Florida. He is the former director of Lillenas Publishing Company and a published songwriter and arranger. He is an ordained deacon in the Church of the Nazarene. Harlan and his wife Barbi live in Oklahoma City.

Dave serves as BFC’s Children’s Pastor for elementary students. Dave loves leading worship at BFC’s new Sunday morning program called “KIDS ROCK!” Dave is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and has his undergrad degree in Religious Education. In his spare time Dave is working on a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Formation from Northwest Nazarene University. Dave and his wife Melissa have two great kids, Camilla and Blake.

Kyle Owen

Kyle has served on staff at BFC since 2001. As Minister of Worship Arts he oversees the band and praise teams as well as the media responsibilities for the services. During his years at Southern Nazarene University he felt called to full time worship leading and has been following God’s call ever since. Kyle is currently working toward ordination as an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. In Fall 2010, Kyle will release his debut album, We Cry Out, featuring original songs and the talents of the BFC band and praise team. After working for 16 years as a local insurance agent, Mark joined BFC's staff in 2004 as our Connecting Pastor. He oversees guest follow-up, our Pastor Chat Luncheons, Connecting with BFC classes, Hospitality Teams as well as Celebrate Recovery and Compassionate Ministries. His passion is helping folks form a deeper connection with God and the BFC family through small groups, Sunday School, and finding a place to serve. He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 2007. Mark and his wife, Kathy, live in Bethany and have two married daughters, Kreisa and Kelly.

A. Wayne Pittard

Wayne has served as Minister of Pastoral Care and Mature Adults since 1987. His responsibilities include giving care to church members that are hospitalized. He also conducts funerals for the bereaved families. He has served on staff at Webster Grove Church of the Nazarene, as well as in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, and Carthage, Missouri and as Chaplain at Baptist Medical Center of Oklahoma. Wayne was ordained in the Church of the Nazarene in 1987. Wayne and his wife, Sue, have one son, Seth and daughter-in-law, Brooke, and one grandson, Ethan.
