Bethany First Church believes strongly in Christ's call to embrace the disenfranchised and the lost with the liberating, compassionate love of God. BFC offers several exciting ministry opportunities within these ministries:
Angel Tree Ministry (Children of Prisoners)
A Prison Fellowship Ministry that was begun by Mary Kay Beard in 1982. Children of inmates receive Christmas gifts in the name of their incarcerated mother or dad, as well as well as year-round ministry. It provides a non-threatening way for you and me to be involved in the lives of Angel children and their caregivers.

Birth Choice (Ministry for Women in Crisis Pregnancies)
It is a non-profit, interdenominational, charitable corporation that exists to help women with an unexpected pregnancy. Our priorities have been simple for over 30 years: We strive to serve these women and to protect the unborn. Support is given in a loving, personal, non-judgement and strictly confidential way to meet the specific needs of each individual. Birth Choice is completely separate for all lobbying groups and from any political activities.
